Church Service Descriptions There are a variety of services at our two churches. Below are description of some of the services as offered at Ticehurst & Flimwell churches. Church Services Descriptions There are a variety of services at our two churches.  Given below are descriptions of some of the services as offered at both St Mary’s, Ticehurst and St Augustine’s, Flimwell.  Regular Services at St Mary’s 1 st  Sunday 8 a.m. Holy Communion  Book of Common Prayer (Said Service) A quiet, reflective Service. 11a.m. Parish Communion, Common Worship, sung. Join us for coffee in St Mary's Room after the service. 2 nd  Sunday 8 a.m. Holy Communion    Book of Common Prayer 11a.m. Morning Prayer Book of Common Prayer with hymns, psalms and a choir anthem Join us for coffee in St Mary's Room after the service.   3 rd  Sunday 8 a.m. Holy Communion    Book of Common Prayer 11a.m. Holy Communion Common Worship Join us for coffee in St Mary's Room after the service. 4 th  Sunday 8 a.m. Holy Communion    Book of Common Prayer 11 a.m. Morning Praise Informal worship which aims to address the needs of both adults and children.  Refreshments afterwards. 6.30 p.m. 6.30pm  Evensong (BCP) or Songs of Praise are held occasionally. 5 th  Sunday 8 a.m. Holy Communion Book of Common Prayer 11 a.m. Benefice Communion Join us for coffee in St Mary's Room after the service. Wednesdays: 10 a.m. Holy Communion (said) on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday Common Worship in traditional language Regular Services at St Augustine’s  2nd Sunday 9.30am  Morning Prayer (CW) This is a service using the flexibility of Common Worship.  4 th  Sunday 9.30 a.m.   Holy Communion This is a Common Worship Communion Service which lasts around 50 minutes. There is parking on the grass verge opposite the Church.
